What Is A Netbook And Do You Need One?
A netbook is a light weight wireless computer that is designed for those that are on the go and still want to be connected to the Internet.
It is used for surfing the web, chatting, and shopping online. The main purpose of a Netbook is to offer a cost effective way to stay connected to the Internet. It is made for those that use the Internet for finding information but not so much for people that create a lot of data.
The picture is crisp on the full sized LCD screen and many offer Ultra Long battery life that will provide you up to a full 8 hours on one charge.
Netbooks are light for easy transportation. Some weigh as little as two pounds so you won’t have to worry about hauling around a heavy laptop. This makes them perfect for traveling or just wondering throughout the house.
They have a large storage capacity so you can save any data that you want to when you are surfing the web. The keyboards are full size and easy to use so as not to slow you down.
I found that the Netbook is the perfect alternative for my teenage son. He can look up what he needs to when he is doing his homework and chat with his friends when he’s not and I can still get on my computer when I need to. I was even able to buy one for under $450.
It’s a solution that makes everyone happy especially since a cheap laptop will still run you seven hundred dollars.
As long as you are not creating flow charts and things the netbook is great. For my business I still need a laptop but for kids to play on he internet it fits the bill just right.
